Safe and healthy food has never been so important.  Despite farmer’s market closures and delays, our CSA will continue on schedule.  The good news is no matter what is going on with global supply chains, we grow everything ourselves right here in Independence!  We have the healthy food you need.  CSA distributions will go on at Overland Park, Lee’s Summit and Independence.

Your weekly community supported agriculture boxes of a wide array of ultra-fresh-picked gourmet garden produce grown just down the street in Independence Missouri could be the raw ingredients for healthy and delicious meals for your family. Here’s what you get when you join our CSA!

1. Amazing produce!  You get some of the highest quality produce and the widest variety you can find in all of Kansas City.
2. Relationship with your Farmer.  There’s something to be said about knowing the hand that feeds you!  And let’s be honest, Sheri is like the sweetest farmer and a great person to know!  I’m not so sure about that Dave guy though…
3. Peace of mind.  We grow using the highest organic standards to produce food that is free from nasty chemical residues.  Your produce is harvested and packed by our farm family.  Our containers and hands are scrupulously sanitized and as food producers we take our roll seriously!  Besides growing it yourself, there is no shorter path between the garden and your plate than our CSA.
4. Special items we are in the process of implementing an on-lone order system for members where we plan to offer other optional add-on products from farmers we know and love who are struggling to find a market for their mushrooms, meat, home-ground flour, and NEW THIS SEASON an optional BREAD SHARE!
5. Choice.  Our CSA is quite unique in that you have complete control over what you get each week.  We’ll have a wide selection available for you to choose from each week.  We like freedom and figure you do to!  We always offered choice but it’s going to have to look different now.  In light of the current situation we have implemented a software system that will preconfigure your box each week based upon your likes/dislikes and our availability.  You’ll be able to just take that box or further configure it as you like based upon what we have.  We’ll pack your box ahead of time based upon your selections.
6. Access to the Private CSA Facebook Group.  The CSA Member Only CSA page is an amazing place to get inspired by others, share your successes and generally learn how to be a STUD at CSA.
7. Weekly Newsletter.  You learn special tips and trick, see what will be available next week and learn learn about what’s going on at the farm.
8. Special Signup Opportunity for Winter CSA.  We’d love to take on everyone who wants to be a winter CSA member but we can’t produce enough greens to meet the demand.  Summer CSA members are the first to get a chance to sign up for winter.  It’s the only way to guarantee fresh veg 12 months out of the year.
9. Discounts on bulk items.  When we have gluts of produce, CSA members get discounts.  For example last summer CSA members could buy 20lb boxes of our amazing tomatoes for just $25!  If you are in to canning or freezing, this can be a big money saver!
10. Sheri’s Amazing Veggie Storage Guide!  Sheri has been spending the winter months putting together an amazing veggie storage guide that we’ll share with you as soon as we finish it!  This will be your go-to resource for not wasting food with fund tips like frozen greens cubes that will blow your mind!

The Summer/Fall CSA subscription includes 24 weekly boxes of gourmet-quality, naturally-grown vegetables available for pickup in Independence, Lee’s Summit or Overland Park starting April 29th and running through October 7th, 2021.  Each week you have the freedom to customize your box and choose what you like from the harvest that week!
